Basically this page will document my personal goal of completing all Final Fantasy games in the number series, in 365 days. This blog was not created for any real purpose outside of having some place to document my progress (and possibly motivate me) along the way.
The whole series could easily be completed in less then a year I was to devote all my time to it, but unfortunately, I do not have unlimited time to devote. So I figure a realistic goal is 365 days. Dividing my time between this, my personal life and work, should make it somewhat of a challenge.
As previously mentioned, I will be documenting my progress and thoughts throughout the year both during and upon completion of each game. I may even though some tips/tricks, news, videos, reviews and other junk up here as they come to mind.
Another reason I've decided to do this is for the anticipated release of Final Fantasy 13, which will also be on my plate for completion by 2011. I'm very excited about playing Final Fantasy 13 and even though most, if not all, Final Fantasy titles are unrelated, I feel as though playing through each game, in order, will help me appreciate playing Final Fantasy 13 even more.
The last thing I'd like to mention is the exclusion of other Final Fantasy games from this challenge. Mainly because I do not feel these games fall into the true "timeline" of the Final Fantasy series. Games that are not part of the numbered series (i.e. Final Fantasy 1, Final Fantasy 2, etc...) will not be included. I may play through some of them if I finish every game before the end of the year.
